Goal Rush and Accumulator Tips
It seems to be all about the cup competitions in most of the fixtures across Britain and Europe, with the FA Cup and League cup both in action.
Of the few league games taking place, the French Ligue 1 is the busiest and accounts for 50% of the teams across our predictions; with rest being split evenly between the premier league and the two cups.
First up is our accumulator prediction which is a bit of a mixed bag, but after studying the form guides and stats we feel these three teams are primed for a win.
Sunderland v Reading
Martin O’Neil is starting to feel a little pressure at the Stadium of Light, so the visit of Reading couldn’t have come at a better time.
Although they were beaten by Chelsea at the weekend, they were able to register a goal against a miserly defence, something which Man City couldn’t even achieve and Adam Johnson will have a boost of confidence following his fine finish.
Whereas Reading have not managed to find the net in their last two away games and are just shy of a month since adding any points to their tally.
Bradford v Arsenal
Arsene Wenger usually uses the League cup to blood young players coming through the academy. But with his usually unwavering support from the fans starting to fall, the pressure is on for him to win some much needed silverware, so he may be taking this tie a little more seriously than previous League Cup outings.
Lille v Toulouse
Both of these teams straddle mid table going into tonight’s game and are only separated by a single point. But with the league being quite a win for Lille, this will put them within a point of the Europa League qualifying places and just four points behind second place PSG; which they no doubt feel is their rightful place.
Having had look around we found that 888sport are offering the best odds on this treble.
Goal Rush Treble
Nice v Rennes,
Valenciennes v PSG,
Hereford v Cheltenham.
The form of all the French league teams in today’s pick show signs of a goal rush, with at least three being scored in nice and a possible 1-1 draw for PSG.
The FA Cup game is sure to be an open game, as both teams look to secure a home tie against Everton in the next round.
As to where to place this treble, there is much between Paddy Power and Ladbrokes in terms of odds.
