NFL Week 7 Preview and Accumulator
From a personal perspective Place a Bet Online had a great week last week, with a total of nine correct win predictions; including an audacious Pittsburgh Steelers pick against the New York Jets; as Big Ben finally got his team ticking to pick up their first win of the season. But our accumulator was let down big time thanks to a humiliating defeat for the Vikings at the hands of Cam Newton and his Carolina Panthers team.
This week fixtures may prove to be a little a little harder on paper though with some close games expected, but we’re already off to a winning start with an easy win prediction for the Seahawks via our dedicated NFL page; NFL Fan Zone.
Cincinnati Bengals @ Detroit Lions
This was a tough one for us to pick with so many tantalising games to choose from, Cowboys @ Eagles is bound to an enthralling spectacle with both teams being 3-3-0, but we opted for the two teams with a better win record of 4-2-0.
Despite just scraping the win last week in overtime, the Bengals seem to be brimming with confidence this season, as their recent victory over the Patriots can testify, having an inform Benjarvus Green-Ellis has certainly helped.
Detroit have Calvin Johnson and Reggie Bush in their ranks and Matt Stafford pulling the strings, so the Bengals are definitely not going to have it all their own way. But with the Lions being unbeaten on home soil and the Bengals only managing one win on the road, it’ll be interesting watching this one unfold.
Week 7 Predictions
In other games around the league, the Kansas City Chiefs and Denver Broncos both hope to retain their unbeaten records against tricky opposition. The Chiefs entertain the largely disappointing Texans, who despite a poor record so far, are more than capable of putting together a match winning performance on the day; whereas Manning and his Broncos travel to Indianapolis to face the talented Andrew Luck.
We already touched on the Cowboys vs Eagles match, but this is a game were really looking forward to. Tony Romo received Channel 4’s vote for player of the week for his performance against the Broncos and led the Cowboys to an emphatic victory over Washington last week. The Eagles have shown glimpses of a team worthy of challenging any opposition as well as demonstrating some naivety on the part of new coach Chip Kelly. Nick Foles proved a worthy understudy for Michael Vick even if it was against weaker opposition, this result all depends on which Eagles team actually turns up.
